The Centre is a partner in the EUscreenXL network and the EUscreen Foundation.
Founded as a collaboration between TV archives and researchers, the EUscreen network consists of a consortium of 31 organisations from 22 European countries, founded to increase access to the archival materials.
The consortium was established in 2006 and draws on the expertise of a wide network of audiovisual archives, academic and technical partners. In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the network, the EUscreen Foundation was founded in 2013.
Its principal project is the maintenance of the EUscreen website and collection. EUscreen offers a significant collection of online audiovisual cultural heritage objects.
